InterBike

I went to InterBike and I was blown away by how many companies are now making and marketing folding bikes.  They are really pushing them toward the upscale commuter.

My questions is;  has anyone ever used a folding bike for a commuter? How well did it hold up? And is it really more convenient than a regular sized frame?

i was close to buying a Bike Friday a few years back and ultimately decided on a bike fitted with S&S couplers.  Better riding if you do a fair amount of air travel.
