Disc Wheel Upgrade

Upgrade, or not to Upgrade

Okay, so I already have a HED Jet 60, but I am thinking about getting a Disc wheel.  I am looking at the RENN 575, but I am unsure if I will really gain much time over my current aero wheel.

Here are my questions;
1. I only race Olympic and 1/2 Ironman distance races and I am unsure if I will lose enough time to make up for the increased cost?
2. How hard is it to ride the disc in a wind?
3. At what point is there too much wind for a disc?
4. Is a disc just hype or real speed?
