Help ----- I got hip pain ------ Help
I did my first cyclocross race and I have some pain in my left hip.  I am assuming it is from the dismount/mount.  What can I do to strengthen my hips so that I do not get this every race?

  My winter goal is to gain up to 6 pounds. I seem to always get down to 152 by the end of the season. 

Not really sure.  I also prefer a saddle with almost no padding and just wide enough for my sit bones.  usually the larger, wider seats cause more pressure points that cause your parts to go numb.

Thanks System 6.  One last question.  Do you use it with a power meter? If so which one?

I have a Vintage Monark bicycle that I have completely restored. I am looking at how to get a value on it. Does anyone know of a website that deals in bike from the 40's.
